[March 2011]To a new mile stone Active Vision has arrived as the new Android developed application is ready. In last autumn the OTP Iphone application was of the most innovative development in the history of the company, and now its Android version is made and as the first application of the Hungarian bank market in this kind it is available on the Anrdoid Market. The OTP Andriod app completely takes user device usage into consideration whilst providing maximum security.
The application which is a novelty in every respect on the Hungarian money-market is considered to be a milestone in Active Vision’s history.
The new app makes certain banking services available and provides useful information to make banking easier on Android phones. OTP, one of Active Vision’s long term clients, was the first of Hungarian financial institutions to envisage the development of such a service that takes the unique device usage of iPhone users into consideration and provides maximum security at the same time.
The unique view points, requirements and special development environment meant a huge challenge, but the result is convincing: an easy to use mobile application which meets the exifencies of the time.
The OTP iPhone app helps users to have up to date information about the bank’s news and events. The search function helps users to locate the nearest bank branch or ATM at all times and it provides information about current currencies, exchange rates, while the related built-in calculator function makes calculation between two currencies available.
The application’s administration function points to the OTP Bank website optimised for mobile use where you can log into your OTPdirekt account. An IBAN calculator is also included and you can follow the status of the car prize-draw.
Further developments are planned to improve the application and integrate new functions.
