[Oct 2010] Active Vision earned the 12th place on Deloitte’s annual „Fast 50” list as the 3rd fastest growing tech company in Hungary by making a 862% growth in the last 5 years. 10 Hungarian companies got on Deloitte’s „Fast 50” annual list which has gathered the fastest growing tech enterprises of Central and Eastern Europe for the 11th time this year. Mr. Anton Kovach, CEO of Active Vision, highlighted on the occasion: it makes him really proud that in spite of the worldwide recession he still managed to increase Active Vision’s business activity and gain results. This proves that the company’s strategy, which depends on long-term, mutually advantageous business relations and development of return based online solutions and tools, is extremely effective.
Compared to last year’s results one less Hungarian company got on the list in 2010 and also one less Hungarian company made it to the Top 10. To reach the 1st place on the list an incredibly high rate of growth was required – 15005% to be exact! The Top 10 consists of a Hungarian, a Romanian, a Czech, a Slovakian, a Bulgarian, a Croatian and four Polish companies. Serbian, Estonian and Lithuanian companies also appear on the list. The requirement for the 50th place was 219% growth, less than last year’s minimum of 300%.
The ratio of Hungarian companies has constantly decreased in the „Fast 50” over the time: the list contained 15 Hungarian companies in 2008 and this number dropped down to 10 last year.
